MT BLUE ADULT ED ORIENTATION THIS WEEK!

The last Mt. Blue RSD Adult Ed Orientation for 2016 will be held on Thursday, December 1 from 9-3.  The next Orientation will be January 26, 2017.  Call today to register for either session at 778-3460. Make 2017 A GREAT YEAR!

YOU CAN BE CREATIVE WITH PAPER!

DId you know you could create landscapes, still life, portraits etc. and achieve fabulous, original style with just paper? Come and join in the fun in our Painting with Paper class and let your creative spirit be free! All supplies included. TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8 from 5PM to 7PM. DECEMBER 1 IS THE NEXT MT BLUE ADULT ED ORIENTATION

Winter is a prime time to begin the next step in your education, whether that is to earn your high school diploma, HiSET diploma, a CNA certificate or College Transitions.  Call us to register for Orientation on December 1 from 9-3. When you call, we will schedule you for some time prior to that day to do your assessment testing.  We can't wait to hear from you! Call 778-3460 Monday through Thursday.

EXCITING FALL CLASSES OFFERED THROUGH MT BLUE RSD ADULT & COMMUNITY ED

What will you do after the Fair is over?  Mt. Blue RSD Community Education is offering more than 60 classes including many new ones.  Did you know that Plants are Best for your health? Learn how to cook with whole plant-based foods to improve your health.  How would you like to learn Soap Making  or Using Essential Oils to avoid the additives of commercial products?  Are you a baby boomer who needs to Understand Medicare or want to be sure your driving skills are up to par by attending an interactive presentation on Keeping Your Keys?  

Of course, there are always the community favorites, including  Calligraphy, Tai Chi, Beekeeping, Fly Tying, Hunter Safety,  Ukulele, Cooking Classes for biscuits, donuts, pie crusts,  Wine Making, Fortune Telling, Photoshop AND MANY MORE.  Whatever your interests might be, we have something for you!

Classes begin September 26 so there is still time to register!

LET'S GET MOVING !

Mt. Blue Adult & Community Ed will be offering several different fun ways to get moving this spring.  If you want to move to music, we will be teaching five different ways to dance including Clogging, Belly Dancing, Square Dancing, Line Dancing and Swing Dancing . For those of you who prefer not to dance, you can play Volleyball every Thursday night in Wilton for a nominal fee.  Would a combination of Yoga and Pilates, called PIYo , be of interest? Community Ed classes are available in the Strong/Phillips area and you can register by calling Mt. Abram High School at 207-678-2701 x 4226.  Class descriptions are available in the Mt. Blue course catalog, pages 28-29, or on line at rsd9.maineadulted.org.  These classes are:

UPCOMING CERTIFIED MEDICAL TECHNICIAN PROGRAM

Exciting news!!

Mt. Blue RSD Adult & Community Ed will be offering a CERTIFIED MEDICAL TECHNICIAN PROGRAM starting in the Spring of 2016! Classes will be held at the Sandy River Center every Saturday beginning March 26-May 28, 7:00am-5:00pm. The clinical training part of the course will take place June 4-July 9, 7:00am-5:00pm.  

You must have your CNA license and have worked as a CNA for 2080 hours before being admitted to this class.
