Basic Excel - 6-week course designed for those with no previous experience with spreadsheets. Learn the basic functions and operations along with the toolbars and basic menu commands. Upon completion, students will be able to create and save workbooks, apply cell functions to spreadsheets and perform basic printing.  Students should be familiar with using personal computers, mouse and keyboard. You should be comfortable in the Windows environment and be able to use Windows to manage information on the computer. Specifically, you should be able to find documents on your computer and manage files and folders. To ensure your success, we recommend you first take our Very Basic Computers series. Instructor: Regina Savage; Dates: Mondays from March 6 - April 10; Time: 6:00 - 8:00; Site: Mt Blue Campus, Room E106; Fee:$60

Grow Better Onions this Year!
In this class, we'll learn the choices to make to ensure success in your onion patch from choosing a variety to deciding whether to go with seed, bulb or seedling to plant. You can grow great onions! Instructor: David Fuller; Date: April 10;  Time:  6:00 - 8:00pm; Site: ALC; Fee: $5.00

NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION - Continue Learning through Mt. Blue Adult & Community Ed

Did you make a New Year's Resolution to continue your education?  Whether "continue" means obtaining your high school diploma, preparing for a college or technical career, or even learning a new skill, Mt. Blue Adult and Community Education has something for you!  Call and pre-register for Orientation which will be held on January 26 from 9-3.  We will ask you to come in prior to that day to complete paperwork and do some placement testing in a quieter setting.  Then Orientation Day will be an informative and fun day...a time to meet other students, meet the staff and tour the facility, and meet with the instructors to set up classes.  Lunch will be available for all attendees.  The staff is looking forward to meeting you, so call today at 778-3460!

If you are interested in learning a new skill through our enrichment classes and are anxiously awaiting the Community Ed Course Catalog, it should be available in your mailbox and on line ( by the first week of February.  Those classes will begin after school vacation, or February 27.
