HALL OF FLAGS - March 16, 2017

Maine Adult Education will hold its annual Statehouse Day in the Hall of Flags on Thursday, March 16, 2017, from 8:30 until noon.  The event provides the many adult education programs in Maine an opportunity to visit their legislators.  Programs will have informational table displays in the Hall of Flags.  Several programs will be bringing groups of adult learners to visit sessions of the House and Senate, tour the Statehouse, and visit the Maine State Museum.

At 11:30, a program in the State House Hall of Flags will highlight the many ways that Adult Education programs have enhanced the lives of participants.  Speakers will include Acting Commissioner of Education Robert G. Hasson, Jr. Ed.D., State Director of Adult Education, Gail Senese,Ph.D., MAEA President Nancy Allen, and students from area Adult Education programs.
