Document writing and editing (MS Word and Google), preparing presentations (Powerpoint), basic hardware/software maintenance, internet research, digital communication and online learning skills will be taught and practiced.

This course is designed to help you build reading, writing and critical thinking skills for college level reading and writing. Learn tricks for understanding and remembering college texts. Build confidence in your writing. Skills you develop in this class will help you in all your college courses or job trainings.
This course progresses from the concepts and operations of basic math and geometry through college algebra preparation. Topics include whole numbers, decimals, fractions, percents, geometry, exponents, elementary algebra, and polynomial factoring. The course prepares students for the Accuplacer Arithmetic and Algebra tests.
