Writers will share their original work in workshops and one-on-one, receiving and providing input from the basics to the content and structure of multiple genres. Creative energy and access to a computer is a must.
Come learn the basics of digital landscape photography. In these three classes topics covered will includefield techniques for determining proper exposure, composition of landscape images and long exposure techniques. A digital SLR with interchangeable lenses and a tripod are recommended along with something to write on.
Times will vary to capture early morning and late day light. No more then 2-3 hours per session.
Location: Outdoors (Downtown Rangeley)
This is a 40 hour course with 5 training sessions. This course will cover State of Maine regulations, some standard residential facility policies, basic anatomy and physiology of the human body, common medications in the majority of drug classes, and the practice of safe medication administration procedures. Additionally, participants will be provided the opportunity to practice taking vital signs, transcribing physician orders,
administering medications in the classroom setting and completing medication
cards/worksheets or some other type of learning tool. Assessments required.

Don’t have your driver’s license but want to get it? Driver’s Education is being offered at Mt. Abram High School in the Spring as soon as possible. Classes start after school at 2:45pm to 5:00pm and generally run for three weeks. This will be a hybrid class with a combination of on-line and inperson sessions.Students must have a certified copy of their birth certificate and have their Social Security card with them.
